Within these pages, all students relived their memories and the emotions that were provoked; they confronted "the mess that remains no matter how hard you scrub with that loofa," as ASIJ's Associate Principal Mr. Jones writes. In various forms-braided, hermit crab, traditional, lyric, collage, and more-students uptook what they learned from class and inspirational writers, embodying author Neal Shusterman's words to write and read "outside of your comfort zone."
