Very good read

This book was very good. I really enjoyed the friendship and marriage chapters, and honestly cried and felt seen in her writing. The money chapter was lacking, I felt the book didn’t need it. Highly recommend this book to other moms who often feel alone in their struggles.

Great 1st Book

Love Kate's down to earth take overall on life. She allows us to get in her head and is very vulnerable. This book has some good reminders as well as some great takeaways.

Life inspiring

This book is a true gem, just like its author, Kate Strickler! Kate is real and honest on various topics and is so relatable! I have the book AND I’m listening to it on audible as well…..it is life giving and so full of encouragement and HOPE! 5 stars really doesn’t seem adequate enough to give this read—it deserves so many more that just 5! Thank you to Kate for every chapter and word in this inspiring book—you and your book are a true gift!!!🩵

A great book to remember how to love yourself and others

I've been a loyal Naptime Kitchen follower for years and Kate is everything the internet needs. She's honest and somehow makes you feel so seen.I feel like I have the world's tiniest kitchen, so it's fitting that I love a book called 'I Just Wish I Had A Bigger Kitchen' but its true, I love my home and I am okay with my crockpot being in my basement. I think moms have a tendency to feel so isolated and this is a really great read to let go of the weight of the world and love the life you live. She gives practical tips and mindset sifts at the end of each chapter. Is it better to skip hosting because your house isn’t big enough, or to embrace the mess, pull out the paper plates, and order a pizza? She reminds you that we don't have to love everyone (including ourselves) perfectly, we just have to keep showing up. I think this book does a great job encouraging to show up, for yourself, your spouse, your kids, your neighbors, and everyone you love. She's real, raw, and so relatable. The pinworm story making another round had me cackling.
